The innovative online games supplier, iSoftBet announced the release of a brand-new Samurai-themed slot game. This, against the backdrop of news that the group is being acquired by the iconic gaming group, International Game Technology (IGT) for $174 million in a cash deal.
The new slot game is 5-reel title which is packed with some super and surprising bonus features. It joins other games in the iSoft Games Hold & Win collection such as The Magic Orb slot and Plunderin’ Pirates slot.

These are just some of the bonus features that players will find in the game:
Commenting about the new Rising Samurai: Hold & Win was Max Claxton, head of games at iSoftBet who said: “Risiing Samurai sees us steering the Hold & Win offering in a new direction by drawing inspiration from Japan and the ways of its noble warriors.”
“The title goes above and beyond in terms of the impressive number of modifiers and special symbols it provides, giving players every chance of landing an impressive win while they enjoy the exceptional graphics and animations on display.”
In the meantime, it was reported this week that iSoftBet will be acquired by IGT, essentially doubling the IGT PlayDigital content library to 225 games. It is expected that the deal will close during the second quarter of this year, if all goes according to plan.
IGT executives believe that the acquisition of iSoftBet will provide market-test proprietary content, advanced game aggregation capabilities, scalable promotion tools and strong creative talent to IGT’S PlayDigital operations.
“This will enhance PlayDigital’s competitive capabilities with a proven, complementary content portfolio across Europe and North America as we provide best-in-class games and technology to our fast-growing igaming customers,” said IGT’s chief executive Vince Sadusky.
